1. Who We Are
Residents Hub is a community app operated informally for the benefit of residents within registered housing societies (e.g. Executive Towers). The platform is not a commercial entity and is provided as a voluntary service to residents.
For questions about your data, please contact the community administrator via the society office or WhatsApp group.
2. What We Collect
- Account information: Your name, flat number, email address, and optionally your WhatsApp number — provided by you at registration.
- Content you post: Listings, give-aways, notices, parking spots, queries, contacts, comments, and photos you upload.
- Messages: Interest and inbox messages exchanged between residents.
- Usage data: We do not use any analytics or tracking tools. No cookies beyond what is strictly necessary for your login session are set.
3. Why We Collect It
- To provide the community platform and its features
- To let neighbours contact each other about listings
- To personalise your experience within your community chapter
- If you opted in at registration: to send you community notifications via the app inbox
4. Who Can See Your Data
- Other residents of the same community chapter can see your name, flat number, and content you post publicly.
- Your WhatsApp number is only shared with residents you express interest in, or who express interest in your listings.
- Your email address is not visible to other residents.
- We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to any third party or advertiser.
5. Data Storage
Your data is stored securely on Supabase (a cloud database service) with Row Level Security enabled on all tables. Data is stored on servers in the EU/US. Supabase's own privacy policy applies to infrastructure-level data handling.
6. Your Rights
- Access: You can view all content you have posted within the app.
- Correction: You can update your profile information at any time.
- Deletion: You can request deletion of your account and associated data using the "Delete My Account" option in the sidebar. This will anonymise your profile and sign you out. Content you have posted may remain visible in anonymised form.
- Opt-out of notifications: Contact the community administrator.
7. Cookies
This app uses only essential session cookies — these are required for you to stay logged in. We do not use advertising, tracking, or analytics cookies.
8. Changes to This Notice
We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. The updated date at the top of this page reflects when changes were last made. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of any updates.
